About me

My name is Anton Ivanov. I was born in 1953 in Plovdiv town, the central part of South Bulgaria and my passion for over forty years has been collecting minerals.

In 1978 I defended my Master’s thesis in mineralogy and crystallography at the Mineralogy, Petrology Ores and Minerals department of the Sofia University “St. Kl. Ohridsky”. Between 1978 and 1990 I worked in the field of prognosis, searching, prospecting and exploration of rare and radioactive minerals. During this time period I also specialized in the scientific research of the mineralogy and geochemistry of secondary uranium deposits. Since 1990 I have had my own business.
